This isn't the first post about this pattern on the blog and a lot has happened since that post back in 2018 . I have sewn seven robes with the same pattern since then and I declare myself a big fan of my "fancy robe".

I've sewn seven of these, but it’s not because I now have one of these for every day of the week...all of them exept the last one have been gifts! In this post I write a little about all of them.

Esta entrada no es la primera sobre este patrón en el blog, pero anda que si no ha llovido desde el 2018 cuando lo publiqué. Yo he cosido siete chaquetas con el mismo patrón desde entonces y me declaro fan número uno de mi “bata elegante”.

Cuando digo que he cosido siete más, no te creas que tengo una para cada día…todas menos la última han sido regalos! En esta entrada escribo un poco sobre cada una de ellas.

It's been a while since I've sewn something so simple and loved the result so much that I'd like to make the same garment in all colors (well, in all the basic shades, because this is me, haha). Well, who am I kidding, I haven't sewn ANYTHING for myself in a while, so maybe this also influences my rating: I liked the pattern and I really enjoyed being able to sew without thinking about anything else.

Hace tiempo que no he cosido algo tan sencillo y que me encante el resultado tanto que quisiera hacer la misma prenda en todos los colores (bueno, en todos los tonos básicos, porque yo soy así, jaja). Bueno, a quién engaño, hace tiempo no coso NADA para mí, así que puede que también esto influya en mis valoraciones: me ha gustado el patrón y me ha gustado mucho poder coser sin pensar en nada más.

In my last post I wrote about the inspiration for the new fall jacket I was going to make, here’s an almost finished jacket itself! This make has been...interesting. And by interesting I mean lots of mistakes and obstacles in almost every aspect of the process. But hey, I was the one who told that she likes complexity in a sewing project, so who am I to complain now. Let’s see what went wrong and how I more or less fixed it.
